Team Queso signs the members of BRC Esports, top 1 team from LATAM and will compete in the World Cup in Germany.

PUBG Mobile is a game that has grown a lot in the last year. The game currently has more than 50 million daily players, and Tencent has organised competitions and tournaments worldwide with great prizes. Team Queso also saw the potential of the game and bought a squad last March, captained by PRZ, and set out to compete but things didn’t turn out as we expected.

Three months later, Team Queso is presented with an opportunity to purchase a renowned, highly skilled squad that has qualified for the regional final of the Open Cup 2019, which will be held in Germany in July and has a total prize of $400,000. In addition, Team Queso will also increase the amount of content created related to PUBG Mobile and support the region of LATAM.

BRC Esports, which will now become Team Queso, is one of the best teams in LATAM. They are ranked among the best teams according to Tencent’s official LATAM club ranking, and this season they placed second in the PMCO (PUBG Mobile Club Open) Spring Split, which guarantees them a place in the World Cup preliminaries in Germany, from the 17th to the 22nd of July. If they qualify in this phase, they will participate in the final phase from the 26th to the 30th and will compete for those $400,000.

Thanks to having qualified for this competition, the team has been invited to participate in the next PMCO (Fall Split), the second season of the Club Open series, which will be held from August to December and this time with a final in China.

Meet the members of the team:

Gabriel Arreaza “Gabo” (Panama) will be the manager, and the six players are Axel Gavotti “Axeel” (Argentina), Marco Poppitti “Marco” (Uruguay), Juan Javier Navarrete “Tate” (Chile), Gonzalo Ayala “Ayala” (Argentina), Miguel Ramoha “Mystic” (Argentina) and Leonardo Arce “Dekc” (Uruguay).

You will be able to see them competing from the 17th to the 22nd of July at the World Cup in Germany, representing Team Queso, and hopefully they will win our first title in this game.

On the other hand, we want to wish luck and thank Gochi, Karrik and luNAtik, and PRZ for their work and effort this time. PRZ says goodbye: “Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity, we are very grateful. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as we expected, and I hope our paths cross again later on”.
