The Spaniard iAmJP is the one chosen by Team Queso to reinforce the team’s Clash Royale squad for the 2020 season

Joan Pey Rodríguez, better known in the Clash Royale scene as iAmJP, becomes the fourth member of Team Queso’s completely Spanish squad for the 2020 season. The Catalan has been Team Queso’s favourite choice from the start and both player and club are delighted with this signing.

iAmJP hails from Castelldefels (Barcelona) and is 19 years old. He has been in the competitive scene of Clash Royale since its inception, having been in important teams where he has already competed at the highest level and experienced a great deal of pressure. JP not only brings quality and talent but also tons of experience that in many cases can make the difference.

In 2018 he participated in the CRL Europe with Dignitas and in 2019 he competed in the CRL Asia with KIX, placing one step away from qualifying for the Worlds. We also saw him in a great and exciting SLO semi-final against Team Queso in 2019, where he maintained a 50% win rate despite the 5-set loss to Rubén and company. It is also worth highlighting his victory in the RTVE Challenge 2 in 2018.

iAmJP is a confessed fan of Team Queso and is ecstatic about this singing, he has one objective in mind: ‘I’m very happy to be in my dream team, the one I’ve always wanted to be in. Both my team-mates and staff are great, and I hope we will achieve everything we set out to do’.

Fuyur, Sports Director and Manager of the division, explains the signing: ‘Once we became aware of the possibility of Azilys leaving the team, the technical team started working and we gathered a series of names from where a few chosen ones came out to do try-outs with the team. One of them stood out from the rest: JP. He is humble and eager to win it all. An excellent addition for 2020’.

JP is also very active in social media and content creation, he has a Youtube channel with more than 100,000 subscribers where he uploads videos and streams on a regular basis. You can also follow him on Twitter and Instagram so you don’t miss anything about the new signing.

Team Queso thus completes its Clash Royale squad for 2020, with a team made up by iAmJP, Rubén, Beniju and Cuchi Cuu, Eelke as coach, AlvaroGL as analyst and Fuyur as manager.

As always, the Clash Royale team is synonymous with lots of fun and great content, both from the club and the players, so stay tuned to our social media so you don’t miss anything about Team Queso.

Welcome iAmJP!
