DIGI, the telecommunications operator of the multinational DIGI Communications, has signed an agreement with Team Queso, one of the leading esports teams in Spain, to become its Official Sponsor in the League of Legends main tournament (the Superliga), one of the most widely followed in Spain, which begins on the 31st of May.
With this sponsorship agreement, DIGI wants to show its support to Team Queso and connect with all its fans. DIGI is the fibre service that Team Queso will use during the competition, showcasing all the quality and speed of its fibre service in such a special and important moment for the Team.
The DIGI fibre service allows for a professional gaming experience: offering a faster connection thanks to its lower latency and greater stability while gaming on-line, by receiving all the necessary information at all times.
DIGI and Team Queso wanted to join forces because of the similar values they share, such as relatability, hard work and the desire to improve, always getting better in order to achieve greater goals.
Thanks to this agreement, Team Queso fans will be able to see DIGI’s image on the players’ live broadcasts from the team’s Gaming House, as well as on their official social media channels.
The CEO of DIGI Spain, Marius Varzaru, is very positive about the agreement: “We are very excited to face new challenges and to enter the esports ecosystem with a leading Club like Team Queso. This alliance also allows us to stand by the side of all gaming fans, supporting one of their favourite hobbies.
Likewise, the Co-Founder and CEO of Team Queso, Álvaro González de Buitrago, has been very happy with this sponsorship agreement: “We are very happy to partner with a fast growing brand like DIGI, which offers the best and fastest fibre services to enjoy everything esports have to offer. We are confident that this project will be very positive for both parties”.
